Lainey has worked to make the digital world more inclusive since 1995. She is an international speaker and serves as the Digital Accessibility Resource for the business to business non-profit Disability:IN.  Lainey is an American Bar Association Legal Rebel and was twice a California Lawyer of the year. Lainey developed and practices Structured Negotiation, a problem-solving strategy that avoids lawsuits and focuses on lasting change and relationship-building to resolve disability rights claims. She is the author of Structured Negotiation: A Winning Alternative to Lawsuits.

 

 

Kassy Laborie

Kassy is a speaker, instructional designer, classroom facilitator, and author who specializes in virtual learning, teams, and live online technology. Kassy is passionate aboute helping organizations, learning teams, and training professionals successfully move to the virtual environment.

In her previous role at Dale Carnegie Training, she was the director of virtual training services, a consultancy that partners with organizations to help them develop successful online training strategies. Kassy also served as the product design architect responsible for developing the company’s live online training product and experience. Prior to this, she was an independent master virtual trainer, a Microsoft software trainer, and a senior trainer at WebEx, where she helped build and deliver training at the WebEx University.

Kassy is the co-author of Interact and Engage! 50+ Activities for Virtual Training, Meetings, and Webinars and author of Producing Virtual Training, Meetings, and Webinars, both with ATD Press. A frequent speaker at industry conferences since 2006, she has presented at Training Magazine events including their yearly conference and Online Learning Conferences, Chief Learning Officer symposiums, The Virtual Learning Show, ATD’s TechKnowledge and International Conference & Exposition, as well as many local ATD Chapter events.

John graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship and after a brief stint with The Nielsen Company, left to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams. John is leading Conferences i/o with the mission of building The Best Audience Engagement Tool on the planet and the company was recently named one of Chicago's Top 5 Coolest Startups by The Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center.

 

 

Elizabeth Wolfe

Elizabeth WolfeEsquire, Counsel of Regulatory Affairs, NASBA

Elizabeth Wolfe is Counsel of Regulatory Affairs at National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). Her practice areas focus on regulatory law and legislative policy as it pertains to the Accounting profession. Prior to joining NASBA, Elizabeth was Assistant General Counsel at the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance in the Regulatory Boards Division. There she provided legal advice regarding state licensure, Federal Anti-Trust law, the Tennessee Open Records Act, and the Tennessee Open Meetings Act to the Tennessee State Boards of Accountancy, Architecture & Engineers, Motor Vehicles, and Athletic Commission. She graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee where she double majored in Art History and Political Science. Elizabeth attended law school at Belmont University College of Law where she served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association. She is an active member of the Nashville Bar Association and Nashville Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division. Elizabeth is also a member of the Belmont Law Inn of Court where she mentors first year law students.
